2020-2021 Season Performance Schedule


COVID 19 patron guidelines. 
Here are some of the steps we are taking to create a safe environment for all our patrons. 
1. Temperatures of all patrons will be taken before the concert. 
2. If you have printed tickets, please present it to the usher. The usher will scan the code with the app on their phones. 
3. A QR code will be visible by the entrance for all patrons to scan for our digital programs. 
4. Until the foreseeable future, only limited tickets will be sold for each event. Currently not exceeding 30%
5. Patrons are required to wear masks. Patrons may be asked to leave if masks are not worn. 
6. There will not be any door sales. 
7. Please refer to McKinney Performing Arts Center for their social distancing guidelines.

Opening our season with our third annual Holiday Concert Series. This one of a kind concert promises an uplifting feel and vibe to brighten everyone's worlds with song of cheer, laughter, hope and joy. 
With a cast of an all star talent from around the metroplex, this concert is not to be missed. 
Come hear all your favorite Christmas tunes like you have never heard before. Every arrangement in the concert are specially arranged in Jazz, Celtic, Rock, Classical and Folk styles.

Antonio Carlos Jobim is known as the father of Bossa Nova. With songs like Girl from Ipanema Desafinado, the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra will dazzle and sooth the souls or every listener with the smooth Bossa Nova sounds of JOBIM. 
The evening will feature, the incomparable Miss Candace Mahogany Miller and Miss Tatiana Mayfield.

You seriously do not want to miss this concert. The inventor of the TANGO NUEVO style, Piazzolla incorporates Classical and Jazz elements into this unique Tango style. The McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Oblivion for oboe solo, Adios Nonino, Contrabassimo and the Four Season.

This concert showcases what our organization is mostly about. Our commitment to our community, In particular to our youth and our young musicians from our youth orchestra, we proudly present a combined concert between the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra and the Greater North Texas Youth Orchestra. 
The concert will feature Dvorak's Symphony No. 8.

This will bring so much cheer and joy to your hearts. The McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra will share with you music from the most celebrated musicals ever written. From my Fair Lady to the Sound of Music , West Side Story and many more. The orchestra will be joined by Soprano, Agostina Migoni. Agostina will sing songs from Sound of Music, Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific, and O What a Beautiful Morning from Oklahoma.

A classic in every way, this concert displays the virtuosity of the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Jason Lim, The MPO will perform the overture to Don Giovanni and the uplifting and vibrant Symphony No. 41, also known as the Jupiter Symphony. 
This concert will aslo feature Kristin Perry, principal oboe of the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra. Kristin will perform Mozart's Oboe Concerto.
