Individual Giving

"The arts are a key component of the educational system... The majority of the educational benefits of the arts accrue from the activities of the independent school districts of the state...The arts are also a vital element of educational success, being linked to superior student performance across a broad range of measures."
(Excerpted from "The Arts, Culture, and the Texas Economy," a report of an extensive study conducted pro bono by The Perryman Group of Waco, Texas measuring the impact of the cultural arts on the Texas economy.)
It is easy to contemplate making a small contribution and then never do so because the impact on the recipient is perceived to be negligible. This perception fails to realize the cumulative impact that a multitude of equally small contributions can have. This is particularly true when the recipient of these small donations is a new orchestra trying to gain recognition and financial support in its home town.
There are always many worthy causes and charitable needs competing for donations. Public grants are available and have been received by the orchestra, but these cover only a portion of the cost of staging the season's scheduled performances. Through your tax-deductible donation, you'll not only help sustain the orchestra during its formative process, you'll be ensuring a local resource for enjoying performances from a nationally award-winning group of talented local musicians.
